Average Rating: Rating: - My opinion I`ve seen Return of the Living Dead,it is almost the same coarse of events as this movie.In this movie it sort tells like "the oppisted and summularities"of each movie.I love this movie.I like the comedy and music when their rising from their graves.James Karen and Thom Matthews are as funny as in the last one.If this is a sequel to Night of the Living Dead,when did the zombies get undefeatable and stronger than in the earlier sequels.I would love for someone to talk to abou this movie. Rating: - Pure B-grade cheese The first Return of the Living Dead (thank God its finally on DVD) was an instant classic, and the filmakers of this sequel decided to throw any kind of seriousness out the door completely and offer up some laugh out loud zombified fun. Thom Matthews and James Karen return to their roles from the original, this time a few kids discover a broken cannister which soon leads to zombies taking over the entire town. As with the first film, these zombies aren't just stumbling around; they are fast, smart, and vicious, but the film itself isn't scary or even overly gory for the most part, its just intentionally funny (by the time the Michael Jackson "Thriller" zomie jumps in out of nowhere during the electricution scene at the end I was literally rolling around the floor laughing like an idiot), but horror fans looking to take this seriously will hate it. All in all, those looking for a horror/comedy with some brains (no pun intended) should be satisfied with this. Look for X-Files and Shocker alumnus Mitch Pileggi in a cameo. Rating: - An OK Sequel! Basically just a rehash of the original masterpiece, this has the chemical from the original that yet unleashes more zombies from the grave to munch on the brains of the living. It's an OK sequel that is nowhere as creative as the original satire, some of the acting is ok but the best part of this movie is when a guy grabs a Zombie head and stabs it with a screwdriver then it says " Get that damned screwdriver out of my head", funny stuff! Your best bet is to see "Return of the Living Dead 3" instead, now that's a better sequel.
